Pictured above is former Voodoo Rooms manager Shervene Shahbazkhani, who won The Scottish Final of The 42 Below Cocktail World Cup, and represented Scotland at the final in New Zealand. The awards didn't end when Shervene left: Gordon Purnell has just won the Edinburgh heat of the Maker's Mark incentive competition and will represent Edinburgh in London on the 6th October in the UK finals.

I just wanted to write in to let you know that the session far exceeded my wildest expectations. As well as enjoying the surroundings (even the band soundcheck) & the privacy, I found both Adam & Greg to be extremely knowledgeable, witty, patient & majorly interesting. I hope they haven't had a nervous breakdown as a result of our shrieking & constant questioning.
I will be (and have been) recommending the Masterclass to anyone who'll listen (I'm just sorry we've already made arrangements for Llara's Hen weekend) as it was FANTABULOUS!

I just wanted to drop you a wee email (no I didn’t have so many cocktails that I forgot I said I would) to say thanks for the cocktail making master class. The boys were fantastic - really skilled, knowledgeable and patient and great at handling the group of girls! We all had an awesome time, including the hen (phew!) and I’d thoroughly recommend the master class to anyone looking for something similar. Having watched another class elsewhere (yeah, I’m a bit nosey), I liked that we had our own private bar instead of having folk having their tea and gawping and the wee goodie bag was a sweet touch too, really making it stand out compared to similar things on the market which seem a bit naff! A bit hen, ken!?
Now all I need is an excuse to do it again……
