The Sunshine Delay
The Sunshine Delay have been winning admirers throughout the UK and the USA over the past decade for their “mellifluous melodies and country harmonies resting on power pop” (Get Ready to Rock), and a style that blends the best elements of country, roots and power pop.
Appealing to fans of REM, Wilco, Tom Petty and Lucinda Williams, the foursome will be playing songs from their recent album, Keep It Together - “Heartfelt, second album from Scottish roots rockers bristles with hooks and melodies. From the anthemic opener Last Generation to Die, to the acoustic folk influenced closer The Angels’ Share this is a superb set of really strong and memorable songs” (Electric Ghost)
With Paula McKee on vocals and guitar, David McKee on vocals and bass, guitarist Iain Barbour “a man who’s been tagged Scotland’s answer to James Burton" (Netrythms.co.uk) and Brendan O’Brien on all things percussive - this promises to be a rockin' night.

During any gig it is always a special moment when everyone stops and listens. At the last SOUND at The Voodoo Rooms, this is exactly what happened when Angus played. One man, a guitar and a great voice. We are delighted Angus has agreed to play at SOUND again.
Playing a mix of swing, blues and jazz tracks, Radio Puchuco will introduce you to the music of the past. The band formed two years ago and they specialise in playing upbeat, classic tunes. The voice of lead singer Sophie is the perfect match for the style. When many of us think about the 1950’s music, we think of the ‘crooners'. Radio Pachuco will demonstrate how much more music there was around at the time, and just how enjoyable a music scene it was.
