Classical Guitar Meets Jazz Guitar 

Two Virtuosos of the guitar, the Scottish World-Jazz guitarist and composer, David MacGregor, and the Cuban Classical guitarist, Ahmed Dickinson Cardenas, get together in an exclusive series of concerts to present an avant-garde project combining original music as well as Cuban, Classical and Jazz. The two musicians share the stage playing a mixture of guitar duets and solo pieces, as well as narrating interesting experiences through the show.

Their relaxed stage presence and amazing skills on their instruments create a truly unique, intimate, fresh and interesting experience for any music lovers.

After ten successful months of touring and travelling in the American continent, the virtuoso solo finger style guitarist and composer, David MacGregor, is returning to Scotland to kick off his 2013 European summer tour.

David has spent the last 9 years of his life as a professional performing musician. The last 4 years he has concentrated on a solo Jazz guitar career and released his first solo Jazz guitar album "Resonance".

His solo performances have met raving reviews from promoters and gig goers. The mixture of virtuosity, emotion and a relaxed stage presence makes each performance enjoyable for any kind of audience.

Ahmed Dickinson Cardenas

Ahmed is a virtuoso of a Cuban Classical Guitar. He graduated from the Superior Institute of Art (Havana) with first class hons. In England he studied at the Guildhall School of music & Drama, He transcribed, Performed and recorded a wealth of the late Cuban composer Jose Antonio (Nico) Rojas unpublished work enabling access to this cultural legacy for future generations.

Ahmed won best instumental solist & best Instrumental album at Cubadisco 2009. The same album was nominated for various UK and US awards in the Latin American categories, and has played the prestigous Royal Albert Hall,Royal Opera House to name a few.
