Jersey Budd may just be the best musician you’ve never heard of. He made his name playing “rollicking bar room rock’n’roll” (Q magazine) with “everyman appeal” (The Guardian) and has the ability to “get the crowd to eat out of his hand” (NME). He’s performed at the Albert Hall, he’s performed at The Cookie (a small basement in his hometown of Leicester) and all points in-between, as well as far too many festivals to list here, and is as happy supporting the likes of Turin Brakes and The Enemy as headlining his own powerhouse shows.
Sometimes though even the most committed rock’n’roller needs to pause and take a step back, which is why for this intimate evening, Jersey and new band Silverball will be stripping things down to their roots to allow anthems like Wonderlands and She Came Back to really breathe, and to get that unique connection with an audience that only a small show can bring. Come along for a night to remember, with uplifting melodies and powerful lyrics from one of the unsung heroes of our time.
