Rob Wheeler
Rob Wheeler

Somewhere between the haunting melodies, the delicate intricate musicality & his tender, introspective lyrics; Rob Wheeler has discovered a refreshing new way of doing something timeless; telling stories with his songs.

His music is a collection of folk-inspired warm ballads & glossy Americana-pop songs, with a typically British cynical view on love, lust, life, death, hope, regret, Faith & despair.

Having received serious critical acclaim from Neil McCormick (The Daily Telegraph) & Paul Sexton (BBC Radio 2) his 2018 debut album A Little Ghost Full of Songs was followed by 2021’s “Ten Embers"; recorded with some of the most respected musicians in the world; including virtuoso guitarist Robbie McIntosh (John Mayer/Paul McCartney); ACM award winning drummer Fred Eltringham (Sheryl Crow/Willie Nelson); bassist David Troke (Beverley Knight/Josh Groban) & mastered by Pete Maher (U2 & The 1975).

Where Rob really leaves his mark on you is hearing his powerful, smoke-smooth voice & his expansive musicianship; combined with his deeply personal and emotive songs. You will feel you have just experienced the musical equivalent of sipping a perfectly aged whisky, sat next to an open fire, as the cruel, cold modern world outside, for a short time at least, disappears.
