The Cosmic Trip Advisors
The Cosmic Trip Advisors

The Cosmic Trip Advisors are a saucy little rock'n'roll band with a heart full of soul. They hail from West Lothian in Scotland and have been flying the flag for vintage, foot stomping, sexy ass blues infused rock since then. Fronted by the incomparable, mesmerising, Lesley McGonnal...the missing link between Janis Joplin and Dolly Parton, it's fair to say there's nobody else around these parts that are quite like them.

Their debut album "Wrong again, Albert..." was recorded in Sweden with brit award winning producer Pedro Ferreira (The Darkness) at the helm. It went on to sell out of its initial run of 500 vinyl within a matter of months and received rave reviews all over Europe including Rolling Stone Magazine, Blues Matters and Rock Hard (Germany & France). This was all achieved through word of mouth alone.

The Cosmic Trip Advisors released their new album "What are you sinking about?" in October 2021. It was never meant to happen. Pestilence had swept the land and any plans to play live or rehearse new material was abandoned for over a year. Necessity is the mother of invention...and so it was that a covers album of blues, gospel and country inspired songs was born instead. The songs were specially chosen to soothe the worried mind and ease the soul of any listener who might feel adrift in life's stormy seas. The material drew the attention of legendary producer, Kevin "the caveman" Shirley (Black Crowes, Joe Bonamassa, Led Zep etc) and he agreed to mix the album at his epic studio "The Cave" in Sydney Australia. Ade Emsley was drafted in to master the record. The two of them had just finished working on Iron Maiden's new album! No mean feat for an unsigned band from West Lothian....but then again, there are no other bands like The Cosmic Trip Advisors in the UK right now. Catch them while you can!
